Ritchie Crane Hire identifies, assess and manage any significant risks by performing continuous risk assessments (Mini Risk Assessment). Assess the safety of all operations and continue to refuse to perform any operation deemed risky.

The mobile equipment operator stays aware of all hazards during a lift.

We ensure to appoint well trained and competent people that have enough experience to perform work safely as prescribed, without or with only a minimum level of supervision. Furthermore, our employees are only allowed to perform the duties which they are qualified and or found competent in doing.

We ensure that training programmes are established and followed. (Induction programmes)

We continually perform conversant training with our employees.

We strive to do the job as safe as possible.

Our Mobile Cranes are serviced on a regular interval to minimise breakdown and possible incidents.

We supply our employees with the necessary personal protective equipment to minimize the risk of personal injury.

We ensure that appropriate lifting equipment is available (Tagged and load tested). Ensure that equipment and rigging gear are maintained in good condition.

Ensure that only authorised personnel can use equipment.

All our employees are focused to report any unsafe act or event as well as any near misses.
